Camp Eagle Pride provides a fun-filled summer for boys and girls in 1st - 8th grade. Join us for swimming, crafts, field trips, sports, and games.

This summer, students in 1st - 8th grade students can dive into various exciting enrichment camps designed to spark creativity, build skills, and encourage exploration! Whether your child loves sports, baking, board games, LEGO, art, theater, STEM, fitness, or American Girl dolls, there’s something for everyone. Our Summer Book and Bible Camps offer a unique way to grow in faith while having fun with friends. With engaging activities led by passionate instructors, these camps provide the perfect balance of learning and play. Join us for an unforgettable summer of discovery and adventure!

Summer Enrichment Camp Options

Week 1 Camp Dates: May 27 - May 30

Camp Leader: Donna Torrez

Description: Campers will use artist’s tools and materials to experience a variety of studio arts! They will explore 2D and 3D processes to create drawings, paintings, mixed media, and clay projects. Each session will vary in theme to encourage students to find fun new ways to express their own creativity! Supplies included. Class size is limited

Description: This camp will give your students the foundation for baking, following recipes, and cleaning and sanitizing the cooking area. Of course, the best part will be sampling all of our delicious creations! All students must wear closed-toe shoes to class.

Description: Join us for an exciting week of Cheer Camp, where campers will learn cheers, chants, jumps, and basic stunts in a fun and energetic environment. Experienced coaches lead this camp and focus on building confidence, teamwork, and school spirit through engaging drills, games, and performances. Whether you’re new to cheer or looking to refine your skills, this camp is perfect for all levels. Get ready to bring the energy and show your Eagle Pride!

Cheer Camp’s primary purpose is to inspire spirit on and off the field. The NCS MS Cheerleaders will assist the coaches in teaching cheer fundamentals such as motions, cheers, sidelines, dances, jumps, and stunts. They will also do crafts, have snacks, and play games. The campers will perform for the parents on the final day of camp!

Description: The camps’ focus will be to demonstrate and instill the core fundamentals of basketball, including: passing, shooting, dribbling, body positioning, court awareness, and motivation. High school players will serve as assistant coaches and mentors to the campers—providing multiple opportunities for personal attention and a one-on-one work environment. Fundamentals will be reinforced through supervised games of three-on-three, four-on-four, and five-on-five.

Description: This camp will allow students to practice the executive functioning skills of long-range planning and scaffolding a significant assignment. We will look at each student's assignment and personal schedule and then map out a plan for completing expectations. We will utilize strategies that align with our middle school expectations to build on prior knowledge of understanding the book's setting, characters, and plot of the book. A three-day camp to help provide summer reading success without tears! Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday only

Description: Join us for all things Barbie! Girls can bring their dolls for different themed days: Barbie movie, Barbie dress up, Barbie career, and Barbie sisterhood. Each day will be filled with multiple activities, including outdoor play, snacks, and games.

Description: Learn how to make a balanced and healthy meal, especially with our new meal plan provider coming this Fall! Your student will learn about fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products, and proteins. We will also practice making healthy snacks and meals to prepare your students to make healthy choices in the lunchroom and build a wider range of foods that they can make on their own.

Players will work by position to learn and master all the skills necessary to compete at the highest level of competition. This camp is for beginners ages K-8th.

Description: This camp provides valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of baseball. The focus will be on teaching efficient mechanics for throwing, hitting, fielding, and base running —while emphasizing the mental aspects of the game.

Fundamentals will be reinforced through supervised games of three-on-three, four-on-four, and five-on-five. We play several "games".

Description: Set Sail for Adventure - Ahoy, mateys! Come join the pirate adventure. We will help you prepare for first grade through a fun learning treasure hunt. We will have lots of hands-on experiences as we maintain and build on our learning to help us prepare for first grade. Get ready for a fun learning experience! Description: Step back in time and experience the world before modern technology! Campers will learn essential outdoor skills, explore how people lived without electricity, and discover modern off-grid techniques. Through hands-on activities and engaging challenges, they'll gain a new appreciation for self-sufficiency and the great outdoors.

Description: Each day, I will focus on a female figure from the Bible. The girls will create a craft and journal about the story. We will also learn about the strong traits of these women in the Bible. They will leave with a journal, pen, highlighters, and a pencil pouch.

Description: This week will be for any camper who loves playing with American Girl Dolls! We will make American Girl doll crafts and furniture, solve mysteries and AG break-out rooms, dress up our dolls for a daily AG Fashion Show, and enjoy snacks and other fun games! Students can bring their dolls dressed up for each day's special theme. We are also excited to play Hide-and-Seek this year with our Dolls!

Description: Students will be cast in an original musical show on day one of camp and perform in a showcase for family and friends on Friday. Focus will be on developing acting, singing and dancing skills while learning theater etiquette and building confidence in rising 1st- 6th grade students.

Description: This camp will be alternating days for speed and agility and the beginning concepts of running track and hurdles. Speed flexibility training with low hurdles, hill sprints, sprints with and without parachutes, throwing, and pole vaulting. Coach Ronnie Seigenthaler will teach the proper technique and form to be successful in running track and high hurdles.

Description: The camp is designed to instruct and conduct contact drills for campers. This is not a position-specific skills camp. However, the fundamentals of tackling and the contact part of football will be emphasized. Times are 5:00 - 6:30 pm Monday through Wednesday. Shoulder pads and helmets are required.

Description: This is a camp to explore the art of needlework. From sewing on felt appliqué, replacing a button, decorating clothing, cross stitching, or embroidery. Students will learn to thread a needle, complete multiple sewing skill tasks daily, and then choose a personal project to begin during camp. M-Th mornings/first choice is June 2-5—rising 4th-8th grade. Third grade may attend at the teacher's discretion.
