National Honor Society Prom Drive
For the past couple of months, the NCS National Honor Society has asked our school community to donate items to Becca's Closet. Becca's Closet began in South Florida when a young woman named Rebecca Kirtman launched a dress drive to provide prom dresses and accessories to high school girls who could not afford them. That first year, Becca collected and donated over 250 dresses and helped hundreds of girls attend prom. Rebecca was killed in a tragic car accident in 2003, but her mission continues, with multiple chapters being formed across the United States. The National Honor Society at NCS decided to join the cause and the Nashville Christian community came through! Yesterday, the NHS officers were thrilled to take all the donated items to a local chapter of Becca's closet. We want to send a big THANK YOU to all who gave!
