Faculty Workroom Gets a Facelift

August 29, 2016
By Nashville Christian School

Each year in May, during Teacher Appreciation Week, NCS students and their families express their love and gratitude for their teachers in a number of creative ways. Because high school students have multiple teachers, NCS parent Ashley Cantrell and the EPA came up with an idea to bless all the upper school faculty and staff. Generous contributions were made and the high school faculty workroom got an entire redesign! The space received new flooring, was repainted, and it is now equipped with a new microwave and large refrigerator. Everyone loves the new space!

Thanks to Ashley Cantrell, the EPA, and all who gave toward this effort to impact the entire faculty and staff with a wonderful daily reminder of appreciation. If you did not get the chance to contribute last May, the room is still in need of a table. Please contact Karen Whelan at 356-5600 or whelank@nashvillechristian.org to make contributions.

Thank you to all of the great teachers & staff at NCS for all you do for our children! With another $500, we could finish the space off with a much needed table, chairs, a shelf above the copy machine, & decor to make the room beautiful. If you are moved to donate, those items will help finish off this face-lift for the Teachers' Lounge. No pressure!
