Preschool -12th Grade Tuition/Financial Aid

Nashville Christian School offers need-based financial aid for grades K-12. Our Board of Trustees allocates a fixed amount of aid for both new and existing families each year. The amount of aid available to eligible families is determined by an evaluation of need by the FACTS Tuition Management Company, a school administrative committee, and the available budgeted funds.

To be considered for financial aid, you must provide proof that you applied for the Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS). 

All need-based aid is awarded annually. Each family must reapply each year, as awarded aid is not renewed. Students receiving financial aid in grades 6–8 are required to participate in at least two extracurricular activities.

The deadline for financial aid applications is January 31, 2027.
To apply for 2027-2028:
Complete an NCS K-12 Application for admission.
Visit online.factsmgt.com/aid and follow the application instructions. Our school number is 15039, and the financial aid application fee is $45.00. The deadline to apply is January 31. 2027. If you have a question, you may call FACTS at 866-315-9262. If you need to fax documents to them, that number is 866-315-9264.

If more than one child from the same family is enrolled in grades K-12 at NCS, deduct $750.00 from the 2nd child's tuition and $1,000.00 from the 3rd and succeeding children's tuition.

If, for some reason, you decide to cancel your 2026-2027 financial contract, you will have until April 1st, 2026, to do so without penalty. This must be in writing to the business office. After April 1st, you are responsible for the payment of all tuition for the school year, regardless of whether your child attends.

EFS applications open for new applicants on January 13th at 12:00 PM. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to statewide eligibility and priority guidelines.
Who is Eligible? To be eligible for an Education Freedom Scholarship for the 2026-2027 school year, a student must be:

• A resident of Tennessee
• Eligible to attend a public K - 12 school, even if the family has chosen private education
• Lawfully present in the United States

While there are no strict income limits for many available scholarships, statewide priority tiers may apply if applications exceed the available awards, and current EFS recipients receive the highest priority for renewal.

Important dates to note:

• January 19, 2026 - NCS Re-Enrollment begins for returning families
• January 30, 2026 (5:00 PM ET) — Final deadline for all EFS applications
• January 31, 2026 - Final deadline to apply for need-based financial aid from Nashville Christian School
• Applying early is strongly encouraged. Scholarships are awarded based on statewide priority guidelines, provided that the number of applications exceeds the available funding.

If your child is enrolled after the beginning of the school year, your fees (except for the bank draft fee) will be prorated based on the school's 178-day school year.

As a means of encouraging parents of students now enrolled in NCS to actively tell other families about the benefits of a Nashville Christian School education, we have in place a referral incentive program whereby a tuition credit of $500.00 will be given to current NCS parents for each new family they are responsible for bringing to NCS for the coming school year.

The following criteria will be used to determine who is eligible to receive the enrollment incentive: The referred family must list the currently enrolled family by name on the enrollment application.

• The referred student must not be a sibling of a currently enrolled NCS student or a child or grandchild of a former NCS student.
• The new student must complete one full year at NCS, and their tuition account must be current before the incentive is earned. A credit memo dated May 1 will be posted to the referring family's tuition account to reduce their balance due. If the referring family's tuition has been paid in full at that time, the credit will be applied to the following year's tuition account; otherwise, it will be refunded if they have only a graduating senior.
• The referral incentive credit is non-transferable and is valid for the following school year's tuition only.
• If a student in the referring family is enrolled in our Student Employment Program (SEP), the referral credit will be applied to the student's SEP balance, thereby reducing the number of hours the student must work.
• The maximum tuition credit that can be awarded is $5,000.00 per referring family.

Our dress code for students in K-12 is available in the student handbook and in our new NCS Uniform Guide. Uniforms are now available on campus in our Eagle Spirit Store.

After-school care is available for students in grades K-8 until 6:00 pm. Please call the Lower School office at 356-5600, extension 150, for information and an application.

Student accident insurance is included in your tuition and provides coverage for students during school activities. This coverage is secondary to your personal coverage, and it is your responsibility as a parent to make sure the school office is aware of any injury to your child that occurs during a school-sponsored activity and requires the services of a doctor or health care facility.

The LIFE Program is available to students in grades K-12 who have been diagnosed with learning differences or medical conditions that require classroom support services.
