Hello NCS Families!
Welcome new and returning families to Nashville Christian School. The NCS-PTP (Parent-Teacher-Partnership) invites you to join us to make a difference in education and for your children to have a positive and rewarding time learning.
We realize how important your children are to you and that you want the best for them. Do you want to make a difference in your school, home and community? Do you wish you could have more say and involvement in what happens in your children’s school? Being a member of the NCS-PTP can help you achieve that! We all know children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students and the community work together.
The PTP strives to bring these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children and families. Our PTP provides information and resources through newsletters, family programs, parent meetings and other communication channels.
Some of the contributions that PTP has made this year are:
4 New Promethean Boards
2 Magic Wands*
* these items are all associated with the Promethean boards
Food and beverages for all Parent Chapel Breakfasts
Entertainment, Cotton Candy, etc. for the Fall Elementary Fun Night
$5,000 worth of credit vouchers redeemable for classroom supplies.
Some of the programs that the NCS-PTP has sponsored this year are:
Fall Elementary Family Fun Night
Monthly Parent Chapel Breakfasts
Breakfast with Santa
Night at the Library Spaghetti Supper
Boosterthon Fun Run
Please take a minute to fill out a short questionnaire so we can learn more about you and the ways you would like to help.
Our goals are to continue our family and student programs and look forward to new suggestions for topics or programs of interest that you would like the PTP to sponsor.
When you become a member, your support will bring us closer to accomplishing these goals. Parents, Grandparents, or any adult 18 years of age or over may be a member of the PTP. You can join the NCS-PTP by filling out a membership form. Remember to include your membership dues and return it to school.
If you have questions or would like further information, feel free to contact me or any our PTP volunteers...
