Scott Huddleston was our first speaker for
Spiritual Emphasis Week in High School chapel.

The theme for the week is Demolishing Strongholds from 2 Corinthians 10. His topic was "We Are At War." Scott did an excellent job addressing spiritual warfare and spiritual conflict; he identified what strongholds are and how they can consume and control us. He pointed out that it is difficult to confront, redirect, and remove some habit or compulsion ingrained in our lifestyle.

Scott also mentioned how futile it is to try and conquer problems without the Spirit and power of God. He quoted scripture 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 which reads, "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds."
