Jeremy White concluded
Spiritual Emphasis Week in High School chapel.
Jeremy White concluded spiritual emphasis week with an encouraging and motivating message for the young men and women in the High School. Jeremy said we have all that we need from the Lord to win life's battles. While we may sometimes feel defeated, God's Word paints a clear picture that we are winners in Christ. It's not if we're lucky; it's not relative; it's not a theory, and it's not a supposition. It is an immutable, settled, concrete fact.

Jeremy quoted numerous scriptures communicating the victory of believers through Christ. One was John 16:33 - "I have told you these things so that you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Jeremy stated 'I am not trying to minimize your problems, but to maximize your view of Christ in you.'
Satan works to build strongholds in our life to keep us from the promises of God. He builds walls of doubt, jealousy, hatred and blame. But God is faithful to help us tear down the walls and escape temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). "Forget the T-shirt, Jesus has the scars," Jeremy boldly proclaimed, proving his faithfulness.

He concluded the message by having the listeners close their eyes and meditate upon what stronghold God might help each individual demolish. It might be forgiving someone. Or it could be guilt and forgiving oneself. Someone might be struggling with lust or pride. Whatever the sin, we can confess and commit or recommit our life to Christ and allow Jesus to cleanse us within. Jeremy then prayed for the student body.
