Eagle Citings

To cite someone is to praise someone for an outstanding performance.
It is our intent to carefully watch our students in all areas of campus life:
academics, music, art, drama, athletic, and others—and then
celebrate their accomplishments with you through Eagle Citings.

Teacher uncovers student’s gift through technology. Everyone's handwriting is different--as unique as a fingerprint; we are told by hand writing experts. It expresses a lot about the author--IF you can read it. Some handwriting is unreadable and can impede an important message or frustrate a gifted student. Zach Sneed is such a student, and can speak (and now write) volumes about this subject. CLICK HERE, learn more about Zach and his gift.

NCS Student/athlete signs with college, receives academic scholarship, but there is more! Click here for MORE.

An ambitious mob of media moguls (actually a small group of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders) have written, designed, and now published their first monthly edition of The Eaglet: a NCS student newspaper that will cover elementary, middle, and high school events. Click here and read all about it.

NCS Sophomore Laura Pickard wants to “mix it up” with other teens on Saturday, April 19 at Rocketown. On that day over 30 talented teenage singers and bands from Nashville and across the U.S. will join together to perform in the Rally Rumble Music Festival—an event that is formed by teens to help put an end to Childhood Cancer! Click here for a letter from Laura that tells you more about this worthwhile fundraiser.
