Hello ECLC Families,
 
Today feels like spring even though we have just begun February.  I know we have weeks of winter left but I for one have enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and fresh air.
 
We are entering a fun and busy time of the school year.  Spring holidays, planning for a new school year, pre-k graduation and looking forward to summer.  Below you will find a list of specific dates of interest.
 
As in the past, existing ECLC families will be asked to "re-enroll" for our next session which begins on Monday August 13, 2012.  By doing so you guarantee your position for fall as well as assuring your choice of full time or part time sessions.  Be looking for re-enrollment packets to come home Friday March 2nd.  This is also the time to enroll siblings who are not currently attending.  Be sure to let your friends know that enrollment opens to the  public on March 19.  Thank you for being such an advocate for our program.
 
We also have scheduled our annual ECLC Family Education Nite for Thursday March 15.  This year we will be discussing POSITIVE PARENTING.  NCS provides baby sitting, pizza for dinner and an informative parenting class.  Our elementary department will be opened that night for parents wanting a "sneak-a-peak" into "big school".  More information to come later.
 
Pre-K is the featured class for Wednesday chapel on February 22 at 8:00.  Parents are encouraged to attend and enjoy this time together with your child.
 
Pre-K graduation is set for Friday May 25.  This is a very special time for friends and families as we celebrate this milestone with a cap and gown commencement ceremony. 
 
If you have not sent an updated immunization record recently, please have your pediatrician's office fax a copy to us at 351-1324.  Thank you for helping to keep all our children healthy and our records up to date.
