Happy New Year ECLC Parents!  I hope your holidays were filled with friends and family, and that your new year is off to a great start. 

For accurate and up to date information concerning Nashville Christian ECLC weather related closings please check our website www.nashvillechristian.org, or call the ECLC office at 356-5605.  We also will attempt to utilize our PARENT ALERT system to notify you of any delays or closings. 

Please remember our classes go outside for play morning and afternoon.  State regulations require we provide outside play when temperatures are between 32 and 95.  However, early childhood best practices encourages outside time beyond this range when appropriate.  All children should arrive at school each day ready to participate in all scheduled activities including coats, hats and mittens for outside play.

According to our student handbook children who develop, among other symptoms, severe coughing, diarrhea, rapid breathing or vomiting will be sent home and should remain at home until all symptoms have subsided for at least 24 hours.  For a complete list of illnesses which require a doctor’s note or exclusion from school, please refer to your handbook.

Our office will be sending yearend tax statements via e-mail by January 31, 2012. 

Please note your January 2012 monthly account statement will include the annual $75.00 supply fee.  It is important this amount is clear as soon as possible.  If you have questions about your account, please feel free to contact us at 356-5605 or by e-mail at warrenl@nashvillechristian.org.

Don’t forget – we can serve your child a hearty warm breakfast every morning for only $2.00 per day.  Let your classroom teacher know if this is a service you would like to take advantage of.
