BEHAVIOR PLEDGE FOR GRADES 5-8

Today, I commit myself to respectful and responsible actions
that demonstrate the love of Christ. If there is a time I fail
to be respectful or responsible, I will accept the consequences
of my actions and strive to do better.
 

I will BE RESPECTFUL.

I will respect my teachers and fellow students by
speaking words that are kind, necessary, and true.

I will respect my teachers and fellow students by
being ready to learn and staying focused throughout the day.

I will respect those around me by listening when others are speaking.

I will completely obey all posted and verbal instructions
given by the NCS teachers and staff.

I will resolve all conflicts using positive words and actions.

I will choose to be respectful because it is pleasing to God,
and so that I, in turn, will be respected. 
 

I will BE RESPONSIBLE.

I will come to class with necessary materials ready to learn.

I will be responsible by arriving on time to all classes and events.

I will use my agenda or calendar to track assignments and tests.

I will use time wisely and as instructed.

I will complete and return all assignments neatly and on time.

I will be responsible by doing my part to keep NCS clean and organized.

I will not be destructive toward any property including my own.

I will be responsible because it pleases God
and helps me become a successful individual.
