Financial Aid / Student Employment
Limited financial aid is available to families with students in grades K - 8. The Financial Aid Committee of the Nashville Christian Board of Trustees determines the distribution of funds. Nashville Christian, as a Division I school within the TSSAA, does not provide scholarships for high school students but does have a student employment program to assist qualifying families.
There is a limited amount of financial aid available each year to eligible K - 8 families on a first-come, first-served basis. The amount of aid per family is determined by an evaluation of need by the FACTS Tuition Management Company, an evaluation by an administrative committee from the school, and the school’s budget funds available. Families who wish to apply will have until Friday, February 10th to complete their aid applications. The finance committee will begin their aid award determinations March 1st with families currently receiving assistance being considered first. All families who have applied will be contacted once the decisions have been made.
K - 8 families are eligible to apply only if the student currently has and maintains a "C" or above average and the family is in good standing with the business office at the student’s current school. All families on assistance are expected to volunteer their services at our fundraising activities when asked.
To apply for 2017-2018:
- Complete the NCS Application for Financial Assistance and return it to the school by February 10, 2017.
- Go to www.factstuitionaid.com and follow the aid application instructions. Our school number is 15039, and their financial aid application fee is $30.00. While FACTS does not have a deadline for taking online aid applications, it would be to your advantage to apply as early as possible since there is a limited amount of aid available each year. If you have a question, you may call FACTS at 866-315-9262. If you need to fax documents to them, that number is 866-315-9264.
- High school students may not receive financial assistance, but may be eligible to participate in our student employment program (SEP). Through this program, the student is hired to work at the school for an hourly wage and may use their net paychecks to help pay for their tuition.
